Dr. Cynthia Edelman

Dr. Edelman is an East Bay native. She realized at a very young age it was her dream to become a veterinarian. She attended the University of California at Davis, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, and continued her education in Scotland. She earned her veterinary degree from the University of Glasgow in 1995, and then returned to her Bay Area roots to practice small animal medicine.

Dr. Edelman became a full-time associate veterinarian at Pleasanton Veterinary Hospital in September 2019, after three years of locum work in our facility. She enjoys the daily challenges of diagnosing and treating her dog, cat, and bird patients, all the while encouraging the further development of the human-animal bond.

Residing in the local area, fostering a sense of community and family is important to Dr. Edelman. She shares her time with us at PVH and with her two and four-legged family. In her time away from the hospital, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and gardening.
