Dr. Sally Finkel hails from Indianapolis. Her goal to become a veterinarian began when her childhood cat, aka her best friend, was treated for osteosarcoma. Dr. Finkel graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine after receiving a degree in biology from the same institution (Go Boilermakers!). Dr. Finkel has a passion for supporting the human-animal bond and believes in a fear free approach. While she likes “a little bit of everything,” she takes special interest in preventative medicine.

Dr. Finkel lives in Oakland with her husband and perfect guinea pig/furry potato, Alfalfa. She enjoys reading classic literature, eating brunch, and anything produced by Mindy Kaling.
