Dr. Sally Finkel hails from Indianapolis. Her goal to become a veterinarian began when her childhood cat, aka her best friend, was treated for osteosarcoma. Dr. Finkel graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine after receiving a degree in biology from the same institution (Go Boilermakers!). Dr. Finkel has a passion for supporting the human-animal bond and believes in a fear free approach. While she likes “a little bit of everything,” she takes special interest in endocrinology, cardiology, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Finkel lives in Oakland with her fiancé and two perfect guinea pigs/furry potatoes, Pancake and Alfalfa. She enjoys reading classic literature, eating brunch, and anything produced by Mindy Kaling.
